Our history
Decades of property heritage
Foundations
The Group began with the launch of Martin & Co in 1986 and listed on AIM as MartinCo plc in 2013. A series of acquisitions of other property franchisors followed, building the multi-brand network that became The Property Franchise Group.
Transformation
In 2024, two acquisitions changed the shape of the business. Belvoir Group added significant scale in franchising and strengthened Financial Services, while GPEA brought The Guild and Fine & Country, creating the Licensing division and giving the Group an international footprint for the first time.
Expansion
Today the Group spans three divisions and 18 brands, supported by shared technology, compliance and operations, and is expanding again: deeper into lettings, estate agency, mortgage advice and licensing, and selectively into adjacent property services.
